[SOLVED] Need some internet suggestions.

Hey guys.

I'd like to know a few options for a internet connection at my new apartment at Ashiana Shopping Mall, Clifton Block 9. I am a download-aholic and play online games like CSGO, Battlefield and what not.

My parents won't allow me anymore than 2,000 so I believe Transworld fiber is out of question.

Will be glad to know stuff from the guys living at Clifton.

SF installation would be a hefty fee on it's own let alone the monthly charges.

@OP

See if Connect is available in your area. Very cheap from what I've heard and their pings to international servers are fairly decent.

he didnt mentioned the one time installation cost may be 2000 is his monthly budget.

Fair enough.
2k/month would get him 4 Mbps StormFiber. Not exactly a downloaders dream speed but at least reliability and latency will be good.

he didnt mentioned bandwidth either so he can get 2mbps on storm fiber for 2k.

Why get 2 Mbps when 4 Mbps SF is available for 2.1k?
He didn't mention bandwidth but he said he is a download-aholic. There isn't gonna be much downloading at 2 Mbps.

if you get 2mbps with good ratio the download rate is around 250 kbps where as local dealer have low ratio for 4mbps which makes it equal to 2mbps for 4. storm fiber prices are exclusive of taxes and the rate is 32%

Probably a dumb question but does Storm fiber has a download portal? I heard Fiberlink had one and so did PTCL and Wateen I believe.

and how's the downtime and customer services?

My cousin lives near Ocean Mall and he has storm fiber, I think installation won't be a problem at all, and he has never been happier with any other isp

Not that I know of. PTCLs download portal sucks btw.

Customer service from what I've heard is surprisingly quick and helpful, and downtime is nothing like FiberLink.
SF is always on. There were a few disconnects in it's early days, but it's completely stable now.
