It doesn't need to hit 90 to beat Ori 2, since it's competing with full priced games (in the biggest markets for AAA games, anyway)...such as Psychonauts 2
Also, to further highlight how full of crap this theory is, Hades sweeped CerebralTiger's prestigious Oscars while going against "biggest market of AAA games"
CerebralTiger and his own meta-bubble never ceases to be amusing
Imagine thinking a $25 game would've received the same success with a $60 pricetag. LMAO @ "crap theory". Your post only served to highlight your misguided understanding of it
The fact that a $25 game ( ahem $8 for me, thank you Steam) was nominated and won the most prestigious awards among the “biggest AAA games” goes to show how little the price was a factor when determining its quality
CerebralTiger ought to think more about his flawed theories before making them public
And a 2D game can cost $60, even $70. Doesn’t mean it’s actually worth it
There is absolutely no criteria of price or "value for money" when your holy grail of "Oscars" are judging games. Hades was the undisputed winner based on its quality. The sooner you accept that reality the better for you
lol @ calling Dread "good value" when better games exists for a cheaper price
The EMMI encounters are so exhilarating and so well-designed. This is Metroidvania combat and level design at its finest. Metroid Dread ought to be a case study for how, despite a plethora of imitators over the years, none ever really came close to the majesty of the Queen
Considering that people think Ori was "barely a 90", looks like the "queen" is not only lacking quality and is struggling to even reach 90, but is also having a hard time justifying its price tag
no idea how that is a steal by wasting 3500 rupees per month and for games that are removed before you can finish them off.xbox gamepass is garbage with no local prices
Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
Is it just me or people lately seem to defend every bad game design decision made by the devs and try to give bullshit reasons for that? Or perhaps it's because I'm on reddit and discord
