This was a surprise for me. Unfortunately it wasn't really a good one.

The game looks janky as fuck and on top of that it looks extremely ugly. First the avengers game and now this shit. They are just ruining the whole Marvel franchise.

Unless there's a quick patch, I think I'll just stick with the 4K 30 mode when I get this. Seems to be the better way to play, most people on Era recommend it for the visuals.

What we do know for a fact is that the performance is far from being a stable 60fps

4K 30 FPS mode isn't just higher resolution, it's also more stable and has other visual enhancements like better texture quality, AO, LoD's etc.

It seems to be best way to play for the most visual flare.

Maintaining 60fps 97% and 98% of the time is, in fact, indicative that performance is close to a stable 60fps, particularly during gameplay. It's rare for a game to maintain its target frame rate a 100% of the time

I chose to mention 5th percentile because it doesn't account for extremely rare instances, but even if you choose to factor it in, 97% and 98% are exactly what they mean

So much for being able to "code to the metal"


You're gonna be experiencing frame rate drops during combat, under 40fps at that. Even just looking around in some scenes is causing performance dips.

Not only that, dashing causes stutters as well regardless of being in Quality or Performance mode.

A frame can be dropped when performing a dash on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles

Try not to dash "98% of the time" I guess
