Ahh... Excuse me guys because my question is little off topic but if anyone could help me out, I'd be thankful...

So if I am to play original games on a brand new unmodded console with my old HDD and my original Xbox Live profile, Will that be alright or will I get banned??? You see I can actually transfer my previous data and gamer score by doing so.

actually i heard from cousin of mine and didnt get chance to go dat shop i think the shop is "Generations" in Y Block Defence

There is no check for dmi anymore, and no long read of the pfi = XBLIVE SAFE | UPDATE SAFE |

ok as per xboxscene there are many reports of ppl getting banned possibly a new ban wave from MS ( well i knew it and many other's since gow2 came out and nxe coming soon ) so i would suggest ppl with modified fw stay away from XBL atm

Dear oh dear, it seems as if MS has got trigger happy again and has issued a new wave of bans against those Xbox 360's with modified DVD firmware. So it's probably best to stay off Live for now for all those who have a modified system.

Seems like reports on our forums are indicating Microsoft has a new (console) ban wave on Xbox LIVE ...

Right now we don't have a lot of details/information, but if you have a modified DVD firmware we suggest you stay off LIVE for now.

The forums trolled by Xbox Live subscribers are thick with accounts of bannings today, with what appears to be a broad sweeping set of Live accounts deleted, keeping thousands from accessing online gaming. At this point, we're not sure of the root cause — and neither, does it appear, do those affected — but there is rampant talk in the Xbox Scene forums, at least, about the abuse of pirated copies of games like Gears of War 2 and Call of Duty: World At War. It's all "played early" and "back up" talk — thinly veiled "I pirated Game X before launch day" — amongst some users. Others swear innocence and false bannings. Whatever the cause, it's affecting a larger group than normal. We're attempting to learn more from the folks at Microsoft about the current rash of Xbox Live bannings and who is affected.
