LG LED HDTV won't turn on

Hello,

My HDTV was on standby last night and suddenly it started to turn on & off by itself every 0.5 secs. I turned off its power from the main socket and waited few mins.

After waiting, turned the socket on and tried to power up the TV using its remote, but ever since then it won't turn on. Red standby light is there and when I turn it on, it goes off for 0.5 secs and standby light comes back on. The screen stays full black during this whole time.

Things I have tried:
- checked the power cord & plug along with fuse in it.
- waited over night.
- gently smacked the TV (a typical thing to do lol).

Anyone have any idea about what could be wrong with it? Kindly mention some LG Service & Repair Shops/Centers in near Islamabad.

Well had a similar problem with my Dell the thing worked for me was to plug it in a stabilizer.

My electrician suggested a repair shop in Peshawar Mor, G-9/4 near FIA Office.

My TV's 3 out of 4 Power Board went bad and they fully replaced it and fixed the issue.

Probably there was sudden surge in power . It will need repair.also in Pakistan never keep your TV on standby . Switch it off completely .

    why you are paying american rates in Pakistan. Search cheaper region like Turkey. 13k for 13 months. Ms does not care

    Just finished Diablo 4 season in hurry to play Fallout 4 but gamepass released another banger in the form of Star Wars on April 25th. Gamepass is a steal man.
