Hi guys, it's my first post but I've been surfing PG for a lot of time in the past.
I need some recommendation regarding which laptop should I go for, that's at least 3-4 years future proof in terms of fps gaming (medium-high settings) and less prone to thermal throttling.

I've narrowed it down to two laptops that are available in Pak:

1. Lenovo Legion 5 - Ryzen 4800H - GTX 1660Ti - 32GB Ram - 1TB HDD + 512GB SSD - 144Hz Display (225k at CZone)
2. Acer Predator Helios 300 - i7 10750H - RTX 2060 - 16GB Ram - 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD - 144Hz Display (233k at TechGlobe)

Can you guys also let me know about post-sale support of both CZone and TechGlobe, how reliable they both are in after-sale support?

Thanks

Also looking for these same options plus Hp Omen 15 Ryzen 4800H and 1660ti. but, unfortunately, these products are quite expensive in Pakistan as compared to USA. So its better to find someone that could bring these for you from USA

Legion with same specs beats omen in almost every aspect that's why I was considering it. I'm thinking whether I should wait at least half a year for 3060 or go for 2060. 1660ti is out of option for me because it won't be as future proof as the 2060 because of dlss.

Sure better gpu is considered in all laptops
3060 surely bring a lot of video memory but trying to buy it from local market is gonna stretch the cost by atleast 50%(just for gpu jump) so its upto how much u have to spend...happy gaming!

Nvidia suggested price is $1k for 3060 laptop but we'll have to see what OEM decide but I believe it'll be close to 2060. If the predator had 115W 2060 then I would've surely bought it but it has the 80W 2060 (OC to 90W). Another thing is 3060ti is on par with 2000 series flagships that is imo huge. It's releasing after 2 days so probably we'll get real insights by next week.
