I am so freaking happy that the game got largely positive scores. Will give it a try once the physical discs come out in Nov.

while PS5 targeting 60fps is generally fine but can occasionally drop frames due to genuine GPU limits, while traversal can also exhibit minor stutter.

"Next-gen" I/O continues to struggle

If those minor dips in frame time during traversal are a struggle on PS5, I shudder to think what one would call those massive shader compilation drops along with the traversal dips, which are present on both the dx11/dx12 renderer on PC

Can't wait for that Returnal PC port now

Issues that, now everyone's fav Alex mentioned, have been fixed by The Coalition, Bend, Neon Giant etc (minus Houselulzmarque) using the same engine?

On the other hand, the so-called next-gen I/O is struggling even in first party games

Returnal doesn't even have shader compilation stutters on PS5. No console game does, because they're pre-compiled for a fixed spec. What's there for Housemarque to fix? They can't fix UE4's garbage collection now

While Lulz Gone PC doesn't suffer from shader compilation issues (shaders aren't compiled at runtime, rather before the game is loaded up), it most certainly stutters when driving around on a bike through denser regions of the game

Too bad there's no native PS5 version of Lulz Gone to draw a comparison with

The real question is, which version of Kena would Necrokiller recommend to his OnlyFans
