Is an Iphone 7 a good option in 2019?

Hi everyone,

I am looking to buy a used phone in around 35k range and was thinking of buying an iphone 7. Is it a good idea? Also what should be the price of one in a good condition?

I will use the phone for emails, whatsapp, texts, calls and occasionally for youtube, i don't game on my cellphone.

I've never owned an iphone before and since i will be buying a used one, what should i check apart from the usual stuff like battery health, cameras, wifi, screen, audio and imei etc.

I would say no. There's so many great Android sets you can get in this range.

What would you suggest in that range? I already own a nokia 7 plus BTW.

I've never used an iPhone so i thought I'll give it a shot this time.

If you want to test out ios then i would say go for it. Just make sure there are no faults in it. Was using Iphone 7 plus and 6s plus before that and just loved it.

Hardware side check the lcd( replacement ones dont look as good as an original one check youtube to figure that out) and make sure the phone hasnt been opened at all. Also check the touchID and on the software side make sure its not linked to any icloud accounts. I think that should pretty much it apart from the usual stuff to check.

If you really want to try iOS then go for it. But don't buy a used iOS phone. Just buy a new one so you don't have regrets later on.

Well, whether it's a good idea depends on your usage and your requirements. The base model for the iphone 7(that is the 32gb one) in 10/10 factory unlocked and pta approved will cost you around 40k. I've kept the iphone 7 for about 2 years since it first came out and sold it in april only to buy the XS Max, the phone was working flawlessly. If you've never owned an iphone before then I think the screen size and battery timings will bother you.
Pro tip: If it says wlan instead of wifi then it's a chinese iphone. They should be slightly cheaper. Not fake or anything just an iphone that apple released for china. Also, whenever you open an app for the first time it will ask whether to use it on data or wlan or both.
