iPhone 6 & 6 Plus officially launching in Pakistan .. Which network to buy from ?

So I'm assuming a bunch of you know that Apple is officially partnering with Ufone, Telenor and Mobilink (Possibly Warid and Zong too) to launch its latest two phones in Pakistan. All networks are going to have the phones available by 11th December, and all networks are going to have the same prices for the phones. But what they offer with the phone can be different.

So which network is it suggested to buy from ?

And does anyone know what the prices will be exactly ? All I know is that iPhone 6 starts from 80k, and iPhone 6 Plus starts from 115k. But I don't know how much a 128 GB iPhone 6 will cost, for example.

I'm glad that Apple is finally officially launching the phone here. Hopefully people can now buy it will more reassurance that its not second hand or modified, etc.

Apple doesn't have stores here so they needed a distributor to handle all the user end stuff.

Its nice to see that iPhone is releasing here officially but the price is quite steep. A lot of people will still buy from the local market just because of the big difference in the price.

Usually the price increases by 7-10k when the storage increases. So do expect the 128GB iPhone 6 to be around 100k (give or take).

I read somewhere that some networks might over accidental coverage in addition to warranty ..

This should be convincing enough to spend another 4k-5k and get it 'legally', no ?

I was thinking of importing one from the US as I don't trust the shop wallas here, but now I might wait ..

Would like to know the price too. I bought an iphone 5 from the u.s last year june, unlocked and with warranty for $720 with taxes . if its official from an apple reseller then shouldn't be much more then say 75k cause sales tax here is 17% or something vs 8% from the state i bought from. warranty is a given not an added bonus if its official.
the other big question on my mind is if they have any services locked for pakistan iphones like they do in UAE. i was almost getting one from an official reseller in UAE when they told me all VOIP services like facetime etc are hardware locked, meaning no way to install even outside the UAE.

Currently the base iPhone 6 is available for 78k which is already cheaper and the local market prices will only go down with time whereas the prices offered by the carriers will not.

How else is Apple supposed to deal with customers? They don't have stores here so they do need someone to deal with the customers.

the reason for official is that a person i know bought a 5s in april sealed etc from his trusted vendor. Traveled to u.s and got an at&t SIM. As soon as he activated, phone came back as stolen. Long story short, police were involved but he talked his way out as he was an elderly chap. wont be the case with many of us. So grey channel is taking a chance. either its outright stolen and re-packaged or they get it for $200 on contract and then have it reported stolen.

Are you sure about this? I am not an iPhone user so could you explain the implication of this? As in, why would they decide to do such a thing, even when we have 3G/4G in Pakistan? Or is it the Telecos doing this sh*t to save their bandwidths?

afaik facetime will be blocked on the cells soled here just like in Saudi

They want to force people to call other people via paid communication services such as telephones, etc.

I don't know if it's still available in cydia but until last year there was a jailbreak tweak there which unbanned FaceTime

FaceTime blockage may be a deal breaker for many, which again raises the dilemma whether to purchase the official version or the grey one ..
