Song: Chlorine & Wine Band: Baroness Genre: Prog Rock, Post-sludge Year: 2015 Country: USA
Bring on Purple. Band's a personal discovery I admire to this day. I've enjoyed almost everything this band has done and I couldn't be more stoked for their new album release. Still can't get enough of the melody. Contentedly on repeat.
okay 2016 and with new reso to at least give more time to PG and in particular to this music thread. so here we go ...
Track: Die For Love Band: Erasure EP: Reason (B-side) Genre: Synthpop Year: 2015 Country: England
Before proceeding for a short review will say the video attached to the song is with high on emotions but cropped right at the end when track was about to end ... bit short of mere 20 sec or so. Track itself is a beauty to listen, minimalist, slow paced and yet melancholic. Andy's voice is sub-par to the fidelity of the musical arrangements by the mighty Vince. It goes adjacent to the sound to keep it simple appealing.
Its selfishness to not add this to the A-list 'Violent Flame' album. I will disagree to those who would say better this track to be as it is, an inclusion to the Promo album would be great for listeners. Will crank it up no matter what mood i would be in as this is a pretty good track for all seasons.
