Htc one purple tint issue

ASSALAM O ALIKUM PG BROTHERS,

i have just purchased an htc one with a so called famous purple tint issue
pics in low light from main camera makes the pic all purple

I am really desperate in fixing its issue,
i just love this phone very much
i did some research that many people had this issue in their htc one
and they replaced it in us and other int countries, unfortunately i cant
some bought sensors from ebay and changed them by themselves and some are saying 4.4.3 update will fix it but i dont know what to trust and what to do.



can anybody provide me useful info on how to fix it

as there are ultra genius people on pg thats y i thought to start a thread here

please help me guys your brother is helpless

Any sensors or hardware change will ask u to open the phone means u just smashed its market value......its better to sell it off and get another one with No Issue

It's a hardware problem unfortunately. It cannot be fixed unless it's replaced. Later on HTC did replace the camera sensors with omnivision ones to fix the problem.

Unfortunately this problem can't resolved with software updates. The only solution is to change the sensor.

well i am all over the inernet regarding this issue, for me htc should do something as you know there are tousands of people in the world with this issue and people can't get their claims here in pakisan as there is no official htc here. so we are left with this barney the dinosaur purple camera .

but seriously where will be the thousands go who face this problem and can't get their modules replace.

and they design their cell so compact which arent easy to open if it had screws i would had changed the camera module my self. but we got no professional hands and pak. repairing will make your product turn into shit. nothing else, and when u;ll try to sell it ppl will be like "oh apka set tow khula hai 5000 ka lelunga" like WTF

and selling it to anyone is just diverting the problem to someone else but what about the main issue?? i dont wanna give night creeps to the person who will purchase my cell.

Set saturation and explosure to -1.If this does not work try setting iso to 100. It will not completely solve the problem but will lessen it.

Sell it to me if you selling it cheap, I'll live with it (im serious) and BTW, no solution. I also one had a ONE with the same problem, tried fixing a lot but nothing works.

Well i used a htc one with similar issue.I tried this method and it was solved to some extent not completely but i used it for a week and sell it.
