So if you drop your CGPA hard... like super hard in the first few semesters like around 4th semester you have somewhere between 2.5 - 2.3 CGPA...
What are the chances that you can improve..? and improve by how much..? Given that youre doing something like bachelors Computer Science...

One way is to take those courses again and this time dont mess it up :D but I would like to advise you being an engineer myself. PLEASE GET IT UPTO atleast 3. Because if you dont then you ll be ineligible for most company induction tests. because they ask minimum 3 GPA to appear in the tests. otherwise you ll have to try a bit harder for you job.

still you have 4 semesters left but it will be so much harder for you now if you dont redo courses and rely just on the upcoming semester results.

Well, trying to improve CGPA in the later semesters is extremely hard compared to the earlier semesters. Even if you do really well in like 7th or 8th semester, your overall CGPA will not be affected to the same degree it would if you had done that well in, say, 3rd or 4th semester. Still, all is not lost.

You can improve it by doing both of the two things mentioned below:
  • Studying properly. Duh. ( :p ). If you keep on getting good grades in the remaining semesters, your CGPA will obviously improve. It all depends upon how much you can get. Like if your CGPA is 2.5 currently, getting semester GPAs of around 3-3.5 or higher will surely improve it. The higher, the better the bump in your CGPA. And like I said, it will be harder in the later semesters, so better get to it asap. Personal example: My CGPA only improved from 2.57-2.69 after I got 3.51 GPA in the 7th semester.
  • Redoing previous subjects. A lot of people do this if there CGPA is low and they wanna improve it, at least in my uni (Comsats). If you have earlier subjects with really bad grades, try to take them again and improve the GPA in them. Higher credit subjects will surely offer better improvements to your CGPA. Again, it won't be easy since this will be extra burden+your usual semester stuff. But it is necessary if you wanna improve your CGPA. Best strategy, IMO, is to see which semester has the least workload/subjects etc. and pick up old courses then.

Ahan. Well I am pretty shit at math courses, had a horrendous first semester *cough* 2.04 GPA and then 2.38 in 4th I think but I recovered to a large extent in the last 4 semesters and my CGPA is 2.97 now mostly cause my last semesters were all 3+

I can give you few options with regards to their feasibility and cost
1. Most feasible, work hard for the remaining courses and see how much can you improve your CGPA (Still less likely to give you big gain like 3 or more cgpa as the end courses are usually tougher and even with B+ and A grades the improvement will be in decimals)
2. Give improvise/retake courses, though it is bit costly but the chance to improve your CGPA is huge, as the low score will be replaced by latest high score, and since you've already done that course so it will be easy to score more on same course.
3. In some universities, they count failed courses in CGPA even after you pass them (Double counting), if that is the case and if you have failed in past, then no worries, in final transcript, all the failed courses will be removed and CGPA will improve a lot, so just be eligible for the degree which can be much lower than 3.

I am amused your Universities offer grade improvement opportunity. My university had rule only D grade can be improved. Rest if its B or C you can't re take the subject. The reason why few class fellows used to fail in Practical as they will get overall D and can improve later during summer.

The only tip I can give is that if you have elective subject systems at later semesters try to take subjects with high credit hours. For example an A grade in 4 credit hour subject will improve your overall CGPA rather than a 2 credit hour course . :)
Also try to take subjects with practical scoring as they improve your grade a lot rather than only theory subjects.

What is peoples obsession with Battle Royale genre. 6 minutes to find a match, 3 minutes to setup a match, 2 minutes to land, 10 minutes for scavanging maybe 2 3 gunfigts and its over. Multiplayer landscape is looking absolute dogshit.
I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.

After I watched it, I never felt like i watched a show. It was a friggin journey. I got way too attached to Thorfinn and seeing him grow up and find himself and get rid of all the negativity inside of him was just pure bliss.
