I am having trouble calming myself down....
Most of the times I am cool and relaxed but then just something comes along and it pisses me off... and then i go ape shit i cant calm down.. I cant control myself.. for example i have destroyed 7 routers since the past year.. 4 Mouses and 2 Keyboards..
I got into 6 fights while driving in which 2 times it turned into a chamat fight.... Most of the times i regret doing what i do.. well...most of times...Even when im pissed and im trying to play it cool cause i know i'l explode only the slightest of provocation seems to send me into a blood rage where i am at the other person's throat....I used to be a pretty calm guy and used to deal with situations with a cool head and all.....I dont know when my patience started running this thin.....I flame everywhere and leave no opportunity to give every1 balls to the walls.. HOW THE FU** DO I CALM DOWN.. I tried concentrating on my breath...i tried counting backwards i tried drinking water when enraged...nothing seems to work and it gets worse by every passing day m fucking fed up with this baby-rage problem..
:flame:

I used to be like you. Never broke hardware but I've punched walls (and people lol) and what not. Over time, I grew out of it.

But one thing I can definitely tell you is that your anger will only affect you. No one will give an ounce of shit about it, kisi ki zaat ko koi faraq nai paray ga, especially road rage. Instead, you might find yourself severely beaten up, one day (I didn't, and I'm glad it was that way).

So, first thing's first. Mind over matter. You've to keep telling yourself that it doesn't matter. Keep reminding yourself that it's petty.
Incorporate things in your daily routines that allow you to relax. Get a pet. Get a hobby.
HIT THE GYM! I can't even begin to tell you how amazing the feeling is of breaking your PR on an angry day. Excellent way to blow of steam and release endorphins.

Finally,

Practice the art to perfection. It won't happen overnight, but you definitely definitely can change it. Slow and steady wins the race. Learn to forgive yourself for slipping up now and then, but every day, try harder than the previous one to just not get pissed off.

An uncle used to say to me, "khuda ban'na chor do". It didn't make sense then, it does now. A guy overtakes you from the left and doesn't stop at the traffic light. You swear at him and say some nasty things. Your blood pressure shoots up. You feel a pulsating sensation on your temple. You feel sweat forming just above your eyebrows. You want to pull him out of the car and knock his teeth out and tell him to adhere to the traffic rules. If only. IF. ONLY...
Relatable?
Can you do anything about it? No.
Just do your part and follow the rules, and not be bothered by those who don't. Just giving this as an example. It'll help you SO much. Been there, done that.

That happened.....2 days ago :D and then yesterday cause of the rain my internet kept lagging and i was playing League and then suddenly it lagged at the worst possible moment and then BAAM...it was purely instinctive like an unknown force driving my body i smashed the poor thing on the table...it's lights popped out and the screen blinked "Attempting to reconnect" as my router breathed its last...fortunately i had spare one lying around.. :D
I believe I agree on the gym part... but the problem is there is no gym near where i live in.... :/ I work out by running and doing simple cardio and all but that isnt all that pumping...

:D lol yes thats actually half of what my problem is..Bronze and Lag made me this way (jk) :p
I usually gets angry and wants to punch the wall or throw something right after unsatisfactory PC Multiplayer sessions and my family had pointed out the same thing in me even before. So, yes Gaming does affect to some extent.

Anger kis ma nai hota, but it should not be habitual cuz it will ruin your social life. The more your put yourself in anger, out of control to the particular situation, the worst you will be getting in your upcoming days and this will change your personality, too.

Quran ki Tilawat on daily basis has been working great for me.

Everybody got management anger issues but yours seem to be quite aggravated. I would see a psychiatrist. They would most likely put you on escitalopram.

I got same problem, got in with 3-4 traffic fights 2 of them turning full on brawl. Recently (last thursday) punched a lawyer on face because he was trying to dictate my job. My family avoids me because of temper. I was a calm person but after losing

my mom to cancer last year i have changed. i Feel depressed and constantly think life has been really unfair with me which further brings thoughts that i will not get any good or happiness for the rest of my life.

Great friends, loud music and a good strenuous workout session keep me in check. I cannot tell you how important it is to hangout with great people, it lifts your mood automatically.

What do you do? Study, work? Staying home all day long is one of the biggest reason for this. If your home most of the time, start going out, to the park at least. Pick up a hobby at home if going out isn't ideal everyday.

Lastly, quit facebook. I've recently done so and a surprising by product of it is that I feel happier, less anxious and I feel I've accomplished more in a day than while I was using FB. An article I read said that we feel we haven't done much (in a day) because we're on FB all the time, because the timeline has no logical end. We feel we haven't accomplished much, unlike reading a book from start to end or watching a movie which gives us a sense of accomplishment of having completed something.

What's your age? It's a phase. People grow out to be calmer with the age. Plus keep it in your mind that anger only harms you, and nobody else.

I had phases like these, sometimes i was like "Allah Hidayat deh inko" then sometimes I'm swearing and saying nasty things. xD
Then lately i found one another quite interesting phase. I was driving in a crowded service road and the motorbike uncle behind kept pressing horn as if he wanted my car to magically float in the air and he gets the space to move forward. I am surprised now that i think about it, i didn't got angry instead i drove even more slower even when i could drive a little faster, the look on his face was priceless as he went past my car after 5-8 minutes and staring me and not the road. Somewhere inside i wished if he fells down staring at me that'd be really funny scene and he'll never stare someone ever again probably  This was no revenge kinda feeling, This was pure pleasure to see someone else in troubles, I think this country has made me a sadist
