BRO Alto has a weird shape I don't find that car aesthetically pleasing at all. Any other options?
It does, its ugly as fook.
I was in the same boat but ended up getting it.
It took a week for me to get used to the shape, the interior is well enough, roomy, and does the job perfectly.
my daily drive is around 4 hours so, it has good comfort for me. Even if you're tall, it can accommodate you better than most other cars out there.

Thing is, with alto, you'll be saving fuel money in this inflation.
My initial choice was swift as well, but after much research, I decided to go against it and ask my friends around and they suggested WagonR but that was just a bit out of budget as well.

The SWIFT is a fuel addict, you'll at most maybe get 11-12km out of it PER liter without AC.
The older, the less fuel efficiency for these swifts (Due to some reason).

Honestly, it's a best-case scenario to pick the Alto VX or VXR in this budget.
Cheap maintenance, a good price, and good fuel economy. (plus 2 airbags in the front)

If you get the VX, it'll be cheaper, you can get an AC installed in it, although that would mean opening up the dash and internals for wiring and installing the compressor. (You can get better performance AC compared to the VXR this way)

Normally, I wouldn't recommend this.
Because Japanese cars are much better when it comes to comfort, fuel economy, and features.
But they won't be cheaper than 20lac at the minimum so yeah.

Yep, tell em bro. Swear, kids these days, "ShAPe aCHa nAhi" Bhai shape mujhay bhi Pasand nhi Aya tha, but seeing how economical, roomy and easy to maintain the car is, it's ideal for middle class people. Budget 10lac hota hai chahiye logon ko civic/Corolla

oh forgot to mention the fact, you basically don't lose any money on it.
People will buy it for whatever price you name below the MSRP.

It's a rolling cash deposit.

Cultus is also a better option in the hot cash category. The shape is much better
It is if you're used to really run-down cars.
With alto, you get mint package, with smooth transmission, tip-top engine, and a silky ride in the price range.
So in comparison, alto's a better deal.

But if an older model is in mind, and worn-out cars aren't an issue.
Then the 2013 to 2016 Japanese cars are ok too in the 660cc category.

You won't be seeing any cultus in 10-14k lacs unless it's really beat up ... even then I am doubtful
Yea however might get the model with the previous shape. Maybe 2012-2015. Even though the body of Cultus is overly hyped. It gets rusted very soon, and in terms of body Alto is sadly even worse.

The car I really admire in the budget range is Liana. It has been notorious-ed for unknown reasons (including local Mechanics not able to comprehend its structure yet) that's why one can get it cheap.

Yet I am baffled by its comfort, drive, solid body, and road grip. No comparison with Cultus.

No offence but the only time i drove a Liana (long drive of ~400 KM), it felt like i was sitting in a rickshaw. It's super uncomfortable. However the driving performance of the car was very good.

Maybe the car's condition (i.e. jumps and etc) might have deteriorated to cause the Rick-shaw effect. Compared to Liana's comfort Cultus seems Rickshaw to me. That might be an opinion

It was fairly new nad miles were lower than 50k as far as i remember (this was back in 2010 2011 something. At least newer than the Honda City i had back then. I was comparing the comfort with that City and the City was miles better.

I compared Liana with Cultus. You compared with City.
However still I'd say Liana has reasonable comfort miles better than Cultus but
Don't compare it with City/Civic or Corolla

Ok boys with the rampant disaster that is our economy my plans got fucked people are demanding unreasonable prices. I plan to halt the shortlisting process for now. I'll see later once the situation starts getting a little more stable.

Sensible decision. Suzuki just increased the price of swift to 4 mil. Toyota Corolla 5 mil. People are crying and at the same time you'll see and upward spiral in demand. Because no matter if we have to take loan on personal mortgage we will do so to ensure that we have the best vehicle in the neighborhood. That's how our society has degenerated to. The current prices of the car do NOT reflect their real worth but sadly it will keep on increasing and people will keep on buying to satisfy their egos.

Depends on your tastes. If you directly play 8/9 you won't feel connected to the world and the character perhaps but aside from that the action oriented gameplay is fun. Story isn't all that great.

Cyanogenmod was the best. Ab zaroorat nahi. Hardware of even mid-range phones is good enough. Aur banking apps main bhi issues atay hain unless some other stuff is installed alongside root and custom rom.

I used to install custom roms on Android & modded Windows XP/7 builds back in the day. These days it's completely unnecessary to run those stripped down/over-optimized OSes, unless you have sh*tty hardware. Also, you can never trust random 3rd-party developers/modders. You never know if their stuff is filled with spyware or mining background processes. It's not worth it IMO.
