Any suggestions for PC headphones that have a decent mic and are under 5k? I'll be buying in lahore so shop suggestions are welcome.

Mostly buy from galaxy but their stock is limited as of late.

Hey can anyone tell me if the Razer Kraken Pro V2 are good or not? I'm thinking about buying them. Not the normal version but the PewDiePie version. I'm just a casual user and like the design of the PewDiePie ones. Wanted to know if they are durable or not? Here is the link. TIA

You can definitely buy a good Headphones in 120-150$ range but it depends on your needs like, do want a Closed Headphones to provide sound isolation and others can't hear your Music or you want a Open Headphones which gives a natural sound stage and feels like the sound is comming around you AND your overall purpose like listening to music or playing games etc

Well I need headphones for music and games as well. Should be comfortable. Over-Ear. Isolation isn't an issue for me.

Well I personally prefer Closed Headphones to provide sound isolation from nosiy environments and some privacy.

Anyways based on your budget you look at incase if Closed Headphones:

1) Audio Techica ATH M50x for about 150$ or M40x (if you want really neutral Flat sound across the board) for about 100$ max.

2) Sony MDR 1A (which Btw I'm currently using) as they are super comfortable for long listening session and the Bass is just awesome and not overbearing or Overemphazing like those Beats headphones and overall very Good build quality as you migh expect from Sony. But bear in mind it might cost over 150$ to nearly 200$. It's expensive but trust me its worth it.

3) Audio Technica ATH MSR7 (priced slightly over 150$)

4) VModa Crossfade M100

5) Sennheiser Momentum

6) Beyern Dynamic DT770 Pro-32

7) Kingston Hyper X Cloud (it basically a gaming headsets with 7.1 Usb card but it also provides good listening experience).

8) Sony MDR-7506 (It old but GOLD) and cheap too, have a look at it.

And for Open back Headphones:

1) Sennheiser HD 598 Special Edition (Neutral sounding with more flat frequency response) I have used it in past, but I sold it as I need closed back Headphones.

2) Beyer Dynamic DT990 Pro

3) Hifiman Edition S (it can become open back and closed with plates) and THIS Is personal recommendation.

Overall all these aforementioned headphones don't necessarily require an Amp to crack volume or power them. They are all pretty efficient and will sound great whether you power them Pc, laptop, IPod etc

For most Peopel Audio Technica ATH M50x does job and it has been proven winner amongst the experts as well.

Sony's MDR 7506 is also bang for buck, you can't go wrong with it. Closed design and highly rated by experts, But sadly it has 9.8 foot not detachable cable. But keep in mind its price nearly 100$ so you can't ask for more in this price range.

Kingston Hyper X Cloud 2 is also a good choice although it's primarily a gaming headsets but it does a good job on music too.

I hope my answer suffices you bro.

Thank you for the detailed answer brother. I was looking at the Ath-M50x as almost every review mentions them, but the thing that stops me from getting them is the plastic build. I don't want to spend 150 (which is alot for me to spend on a headphones) just to see them break after a few months which was why I was after something durable.
I also researched about V-Moda Crossfade M100 and Lp2. They both have exceptional build quality and sound good too. More so in the case of M100. But the M100 are currently 250$ on Amazon [emoji22] and everywhere else. Will it be worth it going with the Lp2 (newer version)?

Lp2 was criticized a lot for it's sound quality I think. It's more perhaps to suited to Rap or hip hop sort of music. Besides I think you shouldn't worry about M50x build quality, as I never seen anybody crictizing it's plastic build. It's more of a hard plastic sort of thing, it won't break easily unless you do something reckless with it.

Also MSR7 is a good choice and its direct rival to Sony's MDR 1A. It provides high resolution sound but flat as some might find it a little boring for their taste.

MSR7 vs M50x vs Lp2?
As all of them are at the same price point atm.
Which one should I go for in terms of should quality and build quality?

M50x would be your most obvious choice. With MSR7 having more Neutral & Flat sound signature (if you prefer that way) and far better looking than M50x.

Lp2 would be my last goto Chocie.

Don't buy M50x for gaming. M50x has very small soundstage which is not very suitable for gaming. If I had to buy one of these three headphones then I would go for MSR7

Hey thanks for replying.

I'm gonna be using it for gaming as well as movies and music. So are there any other choices I should look at other than what Mbk99 suggested?

Get Kingston's Hyper X Cloud Alpha. They are comfortable and one the best gaming headphones and it performs well with music and movies. And they hardly sell for 100$ on Amazon.com

Looking to buy a decent pair of headphones, the range is 5 to 8k. not necessarily in-ear ones.So I have come across this Sennheiser Closed-Back Over-Ear Stereo Headphones - HD 202-II for Rs 4,600 on the allmytech website. It would be a great to have ur suggestions on this model or any other alternatives in this price range.Lastly, can recommend a headphones shop in Islamabad, as I personally want to listen before ordering online.
