Grounding/Earth Issue

Assalam-0-Alaikum,

Guys I live in an old flat/apartment and there is no concept of grounding or earthing here. There are only 2 pin sockets available all over the house. Now due to this, my PC isn't grounded and I am getting earth whenever I try to touch the casing or the metal body of my keyboard. Its really annoying.

Can anyone tell me how can I actually ground my PC? I am not looking for a whole house solution. I just need to ground my PC. Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Wsalam. Bro what you need is a GFCI outlet. Search your local electric shop & if you can't find it there, then your best bet is daraz pk.

Thank you for your response. Is GFCI outlet same as surge protector outlet? Because I have used surge protection and it doesn't do anything. BTW I am also using a UPS with my computer so its not connected to direct power supply.

Surge protectors are entirely for a different purpose. Google is your best bet for in depth info on GFCI outlets. Get in touch with a good electrician, as he may be able to guide you better in your case.

    why you are paying american rates in Pakistan. Search cheaper region like Turkey. 13k for 13 months. Ms does not care
