For what it's worth, I enjoyed my time with the game, it's a good contender for a game with potential but a lot of issues to catch/patch up first.

Played the game for a couple of hours. Its good so far. I have so many things to do. Don't want to move to another map location when I cant find so many items and side quests around.

Yeah, by the time you get to it, most of the launch period bugs should be fixed. And you'll have a higher resolution in the 60 fps mode.

Finished Elden Ring earlier than I expected. Got another 2 days until GTA V remastered unlocks. Might as well finish this, then

Patch made the game worse. Lots of screen tearing and stutters.

Xbox Series X in Balanced Mode renders at a native resolution of 2304x1296. The game appears to be using nearest neighbour scaling to upscale the image and this results in uneven pixel scaling.

Chalo at least they didn't overwrite the other stable 1080p mode. It's still there.

This needs another patch or two.

Generally speaking, stutter is defined as spikes above 2x the target frame time. Frame time dips between and up to 2x the target frame time is categorized as judder

That's right, judder isn't desirable either, but more tolerable than micro-pauses (aka stutter) and can be mitigated on Chandoo's Series X + VRR display

VGTech ran into so much tearing, NXGamer video is out he says Balanced mode 100% locked on Series X with minimal tearing only in stress areas also with better effects than the base Performance mode.

Seems like a pretty decent upgrade.
