^^ Same here looking to buy 30-50 keys. Also would like to know from people who buy these keys, what are the chances of getting your account banned for buying this, should I use an alternate one?
Treasure Keys are no longer sold on the Dota 2 store.
All basic treasures that were previously opened with a Treasure Key have been removed from the game and the Steam Community Market.
Treasure Keys can now be redeemed for a free unlocked Treasure of your choice. When you use the treasure key a new redemption menu will open. Immortal treasures and some older special event treasures are excluded from this menu, but otherwise the list of treasures is unrestricted. One key can be exchanged for any one treasure. As new treasures are added to the game, they will also be added to this menu.
All treasure keys will expire and be removed from the game one year from now on July 1st, 2015. Keys must be redeemed by that time.

Why would you get banned for buying keys from someone? the only reason to get banned would be scamming but steam clearly states in its policy that it is your responsibility while trading. all trades made in the steam trade window are final (though it is a bit different for steam gifts that get revoked).
so if you pay someone for keys (outside steam) and then conduct a trade through steam windows, those keys are yours. even if that someone is a d**k and reports you for scamming, theres nothing steam will do about it

I've seen people getting banned over this stuff. For instance, if you get a 100 keys from someone in a steam trade and give nothing in return, its obviously fishy. If the keys aren't clean there is a big chance of the buyer getting banned.
I did get in touch with him, he's getting them for me at a pretty good rate.

As Ask said these keys aren't exactly clean, a Key costs $3 on the store and $2.3 on the steam market. The local sellers sell for around $1.5 as they acquire there keys from 'other' sources.
Is it just me or people lately seem to defend every bad game design decision made by the devs and try to give bullshit reasons for that? Or perhaps it's because I'm on reddit and discord
