CDPR says it's working with Nvidia to make Cyberpunk 2077 path tracing a reality for high spec PC builds, but the project could help it become a standard.

Lousy PC Gaming logic.
I wonder why Cyberpunk is releasing a downgraded version of its buggy game, as RT is superior to PT in terms of visual quality.
Nvidia is scamming gamers with overpriced rigs featuring fake noisy frames aka DLSS3 and path tracing technologies, which are a downgrade in visual quality.
I believe you need to freeze your brain in the fridge to fall for such lousy Nvidia propaganda regarding their overpriced 4090.
A moment of silence for poor PC gaming souls who waste money on such inferior quality, overpriced rigs!
The reason I posted old screenshots about Path tracing was that there weren't any recent reviews that highlighted noisy and blurry images with the fake RTX Path tracing.
Want a recent proof about the Path tracing adding noise and blurry image?
Watch the video below, posted one day ago.
RTX Overdrive or Path Tracing over brightens the images and makes objects look blurry and less focused due to noise. The only thing it adds in terms of visual quality is better reflections. But overall the images are less focused and blurry.
Objectively, look at the blue door at
0:10 in the video above.
With RTX Overdrive (left image below), the door clearly loses clarity and looks blurry. With RTX OFF (right image), the door with pipe running through it looks sharp and clear.
Now, look at the frame of windows at
0:48 in the video.
With RTX On, the window frame looks less sharp and blurry (left part of the image).
