HI

I have T-Mobile G3 (d851). I think I have corrupted my EFS partition while flashing Nimax 7.1 Beta ROM. Now I dont have Baseband ver, IMEI, IMEI SV, or any other number. My simcard is also not working.

I had backups with EFS, which I tried restoring. Doing that didnt bring IMEI or any information back, nor my simcard is working.

Any help with what to do?
murtaza12 do you have any idea?

What format was your EFS backup in?
A TWRP backup?

Try going back to the stock Marshmallow D851 ROM, if baseband is restored, go and continue your rooting and ROM flashing, however if even a stock ROM flash doesn't restore anything, then RIP, EFS is gone.

It was backed up along with roms like Cyanogenmod, RRemix and one with Candy 7.1.
I also tried restoring original twrp backup of stock rom (made it the day I bought and rooted G3), even that didnt restore IMEI etc.

Looks like I am done because restoring stock twrp backup didnt help.
TWRP backup won't be of much help in this case.

Flash the entire stock ROM from scratch, including every single stock file.

murtaza12 you are a lifesaver. Thank you PG.

Flashing stock software (d851-30d) restored all missing info and mobile network is also working again.
I ll make a separate EFS backup right now.

Close this thread please.

Glad it helped.

If you're on the desktop version of PG, hit the Mark Thread As Solved button next to the thread title and it'll lock itself.
