If you can somehow push your budget to 12k, then I think you can get a Samsung Galaxy Y S5360.
If your budget is limited then I don't think there is any other Android phone available. Go for V900.
Its a kinda reputable company. I know some people who are using Voice phones & they have no problem with them.

No. Just no. Magic would be a bad choice. Slower processor, less ram, and no flash support. That pretty much sums it up. Explorer's the way to go!

How's the quality of Voice mobiles? I mean their build quality and longevity of their life? Does this brand stands up with other reputed brand? And is it really slow?

Not sure about the build quality, but that shouldn't matter much. It's the specs that count. Nahh, it doesn't. Not at all. A complete waste of hard earned cash. You'll regret buying it later on. Yes, a 416 Mhz processor won't do you any good. It'll lag like hell while multitasking. I'm telling you, go for explorer and you won't regret it. Just stretch your budget a little.

You'll get a used Explorer in that range. Or Samsung Young. If you can wait a couple of months, Samsung Y and Explorer will easily get in your budget by then. Else, just increase it till Rs.12k, and get Explorer/Y in 6-7 months warranty.

In almost same price Nokia 500 is also available with 5MP cam. How's this set? And what about Symbian Anna OS? Is it comparable to android in terms of applications availibility & usage?

@Baber Kamal

My bro has this set
its 5mp camera image cannot be compared to samsung ( i saw nokia 5mp has more pixelated and noise)
Its very laggy even though they claim it has a 1ghz processor (for example switching between home screens)
the new updated os has not fixed the problems

But it has all the fuctionality of a smartphone (wifi, documents, internet, etc)

the good thing about nokia phones is their durability

even with lots of abuse and not care they still work...
performance / availability the symbian os is nowhere near android....
