Prey is a masterpiece

BHAI BHAI BHAI.... !!! Dil ki baat kar gai aap dost..... But yeah, PREY really is a fucking masterpiece and I really hope they make a sequel of that game. Such an under appreciated but absolutely phenomenal piece of art by Arkane.

Honestly, for a first party game, not to have a 60fps mode is nothing less than a joke especially on the series X.

I’ll probably skip this at launch until the 60fps mode is out.

I had fun playing Redfall, both solo and with friends. There's a definite Salem's Lot vibe to a New England town oppressed by a vampire apocalypse. All the characters are interesting to play and the monsters are varied. Still, Redfall does not revolutionize the open-world shooter, or even really evolve Arkane Austin's by-now familiar formula. Redfall feels like the product of a reliable game plan that's due for an update.

Noisy PIxel - 4/10

Redfall is an anomaly because a game with this good of a team behind can't possibly be this bad, and yet, it is. There are these drips of looter shooter, RPG, and multiplayer elements sprinkled throughout, but none of them work together, delivering a messy and almost incomprehensible experience. Still, gunplay and exploration stay consistently fun, thanks to the satisfaction of taking down enemies and the level design. That being said, the single-player campaign is dull, but the multiplayer campaign could provide bouts of fun comprised of laughing at the strange AI behavior or the fact that no one can find keys to a door.

Oh, I don't know, its not like UE4 and open world games are a match made in heaven. Both are a first for Arkane here

Now CerebralTiger should have a greater appreciation for Stalker and a certain developer who made a massive open world shooter RPG with immersive sim elements
