I want to see a fast movie..I don't like movies like village..I become easily bore from such movies..I know they are good story vice..but here I am looking for some good scary shit, blood gore etc..(w) something like hostel etc..(off-course it would be nice if the movie contains less boobs and nudity) :coffee:

Hostel isn't a horror movie. It's a slasher (sub-genre). It's a pity though, that you don't like slow-horror movies :( I love slow building horror XD And IMO going too fast sometimes ruins alot of scarefactor. And I liked The Village. Much more than The Grudge, and God forbid, The Cave and Descent.

On that note, I'd point out you should watch 'Descent'. I get a feeling you will like it. It's about 6 women, one of whom has a disturbing past, going on an abventure in some caverns to find out it's filled to brim with pale-green eyed humanoid creatures. It has alot of blood (some on which was really pointless) and lots and lots of gore for you. And oh! A particular (porn) scene with one of the protagonists and the creatures XD I was laughing stock at that lol (just kidding).

There's Venom, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Darkness Falls, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Jeapers Creepers 1 & 2, Fear Dot Com (this movie gave me such a good sleep, The Exorcism Of Emily Rose (this one might bore you though), The Exorcist, Silent Hill (this one isn't really scary, it's depressing. But it gave me Pyramid Head nightmares!), Creep, The Ring/The Ring two (MAYBE), Dark Water (this is one is my personal favourite, but I don't think you'll like it much), Blair Witch Project, Freaky Friday, Saw trilogy, The Sixth Sense (sloooow), and maybe The Fog.

Note: The movies listed above are not my favourites, with the exception of Emily Rose, The Sisth Sense, Dark Water, Silent Hill, and The Ring (NOT TWO!)

the amytiville horror remake is a good one, not one of those mass murdering kind of horror movies.

ARRRGHH!!! ^$%^%* I have seen the Japanese version of that. I loved it to death! (RADD knows that particularly), and here's my view on the American version, which I just saw last night: Acting: 2/10 As bad as it can ever get! When she finds her bf's body (whatever his name was I don't even want to remember) "Oh my God." was all she was capable of saying. Yeah and a look that says "I'm acting scared now, right?". The '2' is there for only the goth girl, who seemed to be the only one that knows how to act. Dexter (yeah that mechanic guy who got DSL at his house magically after he plugged the computer in) couldn't act any worse either (not to mention, he acted like a robot). Visuals: 1/10 No matter what you say, I think the visuals in the original were perfect! Perfect cinematography, CG, camera angles, the depression factor, and well everything! This has been ruined too here. Nothing is right here, nothing at all. I don't even want to go into detail, it's painful for me to think about it. And WTH was with the sunrise in the ending? Oh sure, that makes it so muchb better. Did I mention how the blue lens didn't work this time? Scarefactor: 0/10. Absolutely nothing was scary. Kairo spoilers: The scene where they show the woman throwing herself off of the tower was done so much better in the Japanese version. Also, can anyone explain why *everyone* wanted to see a ghost!? . The newscaster looked too fake to be any scary, the 'ghosts' looked exactly like the cheap psychotics in any slasher movie to be honest, and grrr don't even get me started on the sixlegged men! Originality: 0/10 It's rather ironic how this movie stays quite far from the original, and yet does nothing original at all! There were two scenes to be exact where I said "Aha! They ripped it off of that movie!". The first one that I caught was when alot of hands pull Mattie down. That scene has been taken from the videogame "Rule Of Rose" (I wish I could find a screen to prove this) and the latter was when another car hits their truck. That has been EXACTLY ripped off of "Forgotten". I could go on forever, but I don't even want to remember. Sickest J-horror remake ever?: Yep, totally/10. ***AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!*** Watch the original instead. It's heavenous! (or hellish? depends on your point of view)

Devil@ I'll trust your taste of movies and give "The Zodiac" a try. I've tried real hard to watch it longer than my usual 5 minutes' mark, but I can't bring myself to do it.

I've so far seen about 8 Japanese horror movies (with the exception of Ring(u?)). Btw, where the heck did you get to watch Ring o_O?
