I am thinking about importing a phone through aliexpress.
If anyone has recent experience, kindly guide me.
Do customs require NOC from PTA.
Does customs charge you before delivering phone.

Or phone arrives without any problems and you have to register via DRIBS and pay duties mentioned by DRIBS system.

Kindly guide what was your experience.

Well item arrived via pakistan post cost was about usd50 and 5k was charged as custom duty .

Shoes ager custom Officer k size k hue or use pasand agae to... (lmao) jokes aside, go physically to the post office with tracking code & say them to process it, you will get it on next day. 11 days are too much.

Post office or custom office? Pakistan post office does not have any idea, they are saying to contact custom office of Islamabad.


When i call them, they told me to contact Lahore Custom office. There are 3 more package are not moving, since arrived in Islamabad. I am thinking to visit one time.

I am from Gujranwala, need to Visit lahore Custom office? When i visit they will provide me package or just process them?

I also placed order on 29th Nov Sale, all 5 items accepted by airline & departed country of origin on 3rd & 4th Dec, none have been delivered yet.

I'm having suspicion now too. Whom should I contact in Islamabad GPO? Anyone have any insider guy there?

Custom is taking to many days for Clearance. Currently, all my package is stuck in custom.

I usually get my stuff under 3 weeks, which is the case for last 3 years of AliExpress shopping. It's so funny that item I ordered from Amazon (US) came in just 13d lol

you will get letter from custom, just receive it and ignore it, you will get your package in month or two if custom officer didn't took your shoes for their kids thats another case, as previously packages handle by shipping companies get on your doorstep but now even DHL is liable to drop it at post office (Imran bhai bhata to get Pakistan post some profit), so check their as well, as some time the baba log from post office also "chapar" the package and mention it missing.

There are a total 8 packages. 4 arrived in Pakistan and another 4 soon too.

Today i have contacted the custom again. He said it will take another 3 or 4 days to process it. He said, we also tired because of many package are pending.

I will try to wait a few more days.

you guys become emotional on my aliexpress comments . let me share my experience

i bought a camera stabilizer was worth more then 1700$ . seller have good reviews but when i received product it was faulty . i contacted seller he says send item back i agreed on it . but DHL Fedex TCS UPS and all other decine to send back this package . they told me exporting electronics from Pakistan is prohibited . any how DHL agree to ship but they need written [FONT=Roboto, arial, sans-serif]affidavit with [/FONT]thumb impression on stamp paper and you know there was shipping cost more then item cost so i bring back and still have it . lost 1700$ back in 2014 .

another experience i buy EUKEY Power bank which was faulty power bank was storing charging but wasn't giving output i contacted seller they asked me to prove it i made video and uploaded on youtube they said they dont have youtube in china . then i send him via email he says he is unable to play video i sent pictures but he was refusing everything i open dispute and its goes to seller favor and lost another 30$ .

one more time i buy a camera lense it was on seller approx 55% discount with discount its price 250$ i think its good chance to get it i ordered that after few days seller dispatched lense and one of my friend told me this lense price is about 30K in Pakistan why i pay 250$ for it i says it was on 50% discount i visited market and see price is really 30K so it was kind of scam but my mistake also i didn't cross checked .

these are only 3 orders bad experience i faced on aliexpress right now i have over 1900 orders on aliexpress .

they can give you any stuff worth less but if its costly they will not give .

Oh, The scenario is totally different here, 3 Post Office Involved IMO Islamabad, IMO Lahore IMO Gujranwala & Customs as well. Holy :crap Thats why its taking a lot of time. The case is different in Karachi, Its delivered to IMO Karachi where a custom officer is sitting and inspecting items. So its all under one roof. Your best bet is to locate the location of parcel & contact there on phone.


@Strix Lesson learned, never buy without checking price locally, never buy expensive and branded item from Aliexpress. I have capped my shopping @ Aliexpess just under 100$ per order, never had any problem.

Thanks for sharing detail. The status for stuck Packages from Pakistan post Website is IMO Islamabad. When i contact ISB custom, they told me to contact Lahore Custom.

You are true about Karachi, I received that package in only 3 or 4 days. Currently all other stuck package is ISB Status.

I have already contact Lahore custom multiple time. I will keep updated this thread.

Which shipping package always arrive in Karachi? Next time I will careful. Currently, China Post package is stuck in ISB.
