Hdmi to vga cable doesnt work. It will not give you display
its better to use hdmi to dvi for guaranteed support
if your monitor doesnt have dvi then im sorry either change your lcd monitor or get a led tv
you can also buy hdmi to vga cable to try but no guarantee .. I can provide that cable in reasonable price
