I think it all depends on your passion. If you really like programming and computers and are tech savvy, then you got nothing to fear. A few years ago I was heavily biased that girls cant be good programmers but that changed after I've met some excellent female programmers.

It all depends on your interest. Nothing will stop you if you enjoy computers.

I think CS is perfect for girls.

Given my experience, it's the perfect "at home job" which is needed through various stages of a girl's life. You can do free lancing easily, or you can have your own product startup. I'd say go ahead.
