SSD increases W/R times so you can guess where you'll gain a foothold. Loading times, yep. Loading times! Thats the thing you'll get in gaming. Although, Its never a bad idea to install an SSD because it'll give you better performance in OS more than video games, sometimes its more fun to insta-open a fat folder instead of waiting 2 seconds, right?

For older games, I prefer RPGs and platformers mostly.
In RPG, something detailed like Baldurs gate but other ones dont matter much.
For platformers, I pretty much love em all! Especially if they're like Megaman

And yeah, 290x is only few % faster than 390 but its not worth it since both series are soon to be outed by AMD's new architecture.
290X runs abit hotter than the 390 so I wont risk it.
idk, they said they'd stock by this weekend, hoping sooner.
They did offer me a R9 290X on urgent basis though.
But I'd just take my 390 instead. lol.
On another good news, MSI just replaced my dead R9 280x with a 380. though the shipments on me. Lets see.

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.
