Marvel has played the long game and created the audience. Most people who watch marvel movies aren't even comic book fans and only got into it after the movies. The actual problem with dc is simple... the movies are too jam packed. They needed to make individual movies for characters 6 years ago. They were too much into the dark knight series. Marvel was pretty bad in the beginining as well with only a handful of decent movies but they picked up pace...- HAMMER of THOR
