yar cx400 can run a 4890 and i think a gtx275 aswell.....and as far as i know silverstone is more powerfull than cx400........i think u should get it if its less than 5k as it'll be better for future if its moer powerfull than cx400

Obviously the more you can get, the better. But i said CM500 in case you are a budget user. Dont worry as it still can bear upto a GTX260, GTX275, 4870, 4890, 5850 very easily.
IF you can (I said "IF") you can spend extra to get a better PSU, then i dont have any reason why you Should not do that :wink2:
... And no i havent seen any person running a 5770 on a CM500 because non of my known persons own any. However, a friend of mine is running an overclocked e8400 @ 3.8Ghz and with a GTX260 overclocked on a CM500 flawlessly, and its been more than 1.5 years its working just fine.
gtx 260 can be had for 15k (used), maybe even less. 5k or so for the PSU. even a 4870 would be ok as performance is very close to a 260.
since you have quite an adequate amount of replies in that thread, let me give you my 2 cents here. to predict whether a certain piece of hardware will be obsolete after 2 weeks, let alone 2 months, is very hard. however for 20k, try getting a hold of something like the gtx260 with a 500w psu from pc xtremists.

ATI's driver support wasn't always good, it still isn't. So always wait for a better driver update to solve such issues
trust me...just get cx400 or xigmatic 400watt....they can even handle 4890......and 4870 is a great choice....
i didnt use 5770 or 5750, i saw that they make problems, which i dont fully believe,
to avoid any issue, get a used GTX 260 with corsair 400 watt psu or a new 4870 1 GB with the same PSU,
nothing new.....just got screwed up by those galaxy pricks.....went to buy 5750 icooler for my frnd, resesrved it at 13200 and when i come the next day the damn price is 14.8k......
and they r of the same price

and dont buy cooler master psu'z except silent proz......better get corsair cx400 or xigmatic 400 from alienwarez shop in main hardwarezone page......these psu'z r more powerfull than cm500....
i wud recomend u to get sapphire 5770 with probably the egg cooler or their new one, that vehshee has.....but keep ventilation of casing gud then......even the his one looks awsome....get any of them
and czone one also has 4800mhz.......
and about gpu....most of the reviews and tests r carried out using old drivers....the new drivers have increased the performance greatly
and about the psu
i myself m inshallah getting a xigmatic or corsair 400watt (these psu'z can even handle 4890 as i'v seen)
companies write these psu requirments based on low quality psu'z becuz not everyone has gud onez
a psu'z power is considered by its 12v rail rating....the higher the rating the more power u get
there also eficiency and protection against overload and these psu'z have them all
and as i said, these psu'z r much more powerfull than they seem to be
they even compete with cm600 watt as far as i can remember
if u look at the latest overall performance charts, 4870 512mb beats even gtx260
and man these gpu'z r realy high at power consumption and temp compared to 5770......5770 is like vitz and the rest like cultus......same price, same space, same power, but more economical and more features
and dnt just look at one game....try finding overall performance charts like on tomshardware....5770 levels with gtx260 and 4870 and afq even says that its faster due to the latest driver updates
