  • none on computer sorry cuz i never wrote on computer..infact i never wrote any besides in school papers or the final cie ones..how about u send me some of your work and i can guide u...and why cant u form a story on the topic?u havent been going to tution have u?or trying to rote learn this stuff?
do the best u can since overnight nahi english ka kuch hota :p dont go for super fancy words use those which u are comfortable with and dont repeat same words again and again its better to know some synonyms..if essay is your weakness u think then u gotta ace directed writing(thats still in play write? p1 consists of essay and directed writing?) and super ace p2...p2 can grant u bestest of best marks
and again I got full marks in chem ATP and almost all correct in MCQ, and that covered up for the mistakes of p2. Just target for full marks in MCQ and you'll get atleast an A provided that you dont screw up p2 badly.
hmmm around 92-95% in phy bio and maths . I never did practice chem p2. I just went through the MCQ of it. And last paper was of chem and my preparation was really bad. But luckily paper was very easy and organic part was pretty less so I managed to get an A :D
I gave maths phy chem bio and eng last year. Got A* in phy and bio and A in maths chem and eng. I failed all the mocks exams before the CIE ( same situation this time ). That was because I was doing my own preparation for CIE and didnt bother for the mocks. I gave isl urdu B and pak std too in 2010. Got A in urdu and Pak std but B in ISL. For bio and phy I did complete classified pastpapers (1996-2008) i.e read the Q and then solved the ans in my mind and matched with the answer. And before the exam day I solved complete papers (2008-latest). The key to get A* in phy bio and chem is to make sure you get full marks in MCQ. I only made blunder in maths paper 2 in which I had to use the factorization formula but I used completing square method (6 marks)
As far as maths goes, its my favorite subject and I'm pretty good at math so I use to get good marks in school and my math cie went pretty awesome as well.
Although for computer studies, I never really took comp std seriously, for me it was just an extra subject. I use to never study for tests and used to get avg marks in school. For the paper I literally just READ 7 years past, didn't learn just read with the marking scheme in front of me and got an A*. I don't know if the format has changed nowadays but back at my time each year questions were more or less the same so reading the past papers was enough.
Since it's against the rule there, I'll reply to you here.

    I gave
    Pak Studies and Islamiyat officially.
Business, Combined Sciences, World History and Stats privately. But since they don't really count, so, mehh. I'll be applying through my College/School for uni, so only the ones I officially give count. Still have a whole lot more to give, though.
Just study hard, my little bro who is in Nixor got 8A's. No tuition, just by self-study and practice.
I think I performed flawlessly in Chemistry, yet got 84% only.
In Physics I performed well and know only one confirmed mistake I made in theory. I got 90%.
I performed Bio's theory and MCQs perfectly. Better than perfect. But ATP was bad. But still got 90%.
In Add Maths I performed paper 1 bad but paper 2 was flawless. I got 84%.
In Maths I performed everything flawlessly. I got 89%.
    Can't say about English.
Sorry for late reply. Was studying for last mock :p

Maths: Those 4 mathematics 'D" books
Chemistry: Only from my own school register.
Physics: Physics Matters (Author: Charles Chew and one other) and my school register.
Well average num of students scored A in Maths. Although below avg got A in Physics
Well i have no idea how much I scored in CIE. They don't even publish grade thresholds for O level exams, so no idea.

Just think that A* will be on 90, even though its not true, just target at 80 or 90 and you will get A*s InshaAllah. And don't stay awake late the night before your exam.Your exams are in morning this time. Sleep early, around 10PM, sleep is very important.

    Is your mock result out?
For Phy and Chem, I went through each chapter's notes from my school copy and then solved past papers of those chapters (Topical)

For maths, I solved some questions from every excercise in the 4 books and then Past papers.
For Computer, I just read the notes from the booklets that are on xtremepapers and then solved yearly past papers.

Well unlike most other people, My main priority was to understand everything first from my copy or notes and THEN solve past papers, even if it meant not enough time for sufficient paper practice.
Throughout O Levels? nah these were only mock exam marks and mock marks can't be the true reflection of a person's performance.

Well can't exactly say a blunder but I couldn't solve the question on waves in Paper 2 rest went well.
And on the day of Chemistry (CIE) I was not feeling well but still I did good. Can't remember any blunders.

Maths went great. Although did leave some vector answers in Paper 2 but they were only 2-3 marks.
