EDITED:
PTCL now require sXe version 8.0.

Thats why the server was down some days before.

It wont drop no matter what you do

Thats how things roll; you might need LDN or some other connection to experience good pings on servers other than PTCL's.

there are only karachi dreamnet servers around worth playing on... i get like 60 ping on them... so hard to play with those pathetic pings but i still pawn though

Lol that's weired. Pings doesn't matter as long as the game is stable. I play in some European servers with 160 ping and I still pwnz!

It lags yar, you can't play the way you want ... It's difficult to play with latency 100<

ping matter a lot man... people are playing at below 20 ping and people are playing at above 60 ping... the game difference can be huge... you can only show half your potential at that ping.... my screen freezes up and jerks around... causes problems all the time... most of the players are using 0.1 interp so you get fragged when you shouldn't... i am too old to go to gaming zones man... online is what i do now... and it is irritating....

When I started cs playing online .. I started with ptcl servers as I was aware of only them. It used to lag like hell.. Stucking here , stucking there .. Killed in a flash :S The latency then was 90< .. I couldn't play, but when I played on the non-laggy servers, they helped me make my game.

The latency was better and now I get an average latency of 40 ..

There's a big difference b/w stable gameplay (smooth) and unstable gameplay (lag).

Try to play on people's servers who are champions to manage it properly, here in Pakistan not much servers are lag free they use to put needless extra buggy badly coded plugins. The only stable server I've had ever seen was a Dreamnet based server dunno extreme or what but yeah there was one which have become disappeared nowadays.

Google about "Noobstick servers" and you'll know how well that Holland guy manage his server he's one of my friend from AMXX official forums and he's an absolute genius about php and amx scripting thingie.

Some other are "DJreturn servers, [Lan-Servers], UCTT servers and none other than mY.RuN servers. You'll know how stable those servers are even with 200ping but since all of these are stated in Eu so ping won't be hitting 200 mark.

Servers are stated at Bulgaria, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, Astronia, Germany and The Netherlands respectively.
