Sony PlayStation 5 : Play Has No Limits

PS5 Release Date, PS5 Games, PS5 Power vs Xbox One X, PS5 Price Speculation - All the PS5 Info lets discuss

Here are all the rumors and speculation surrounding the PS5, including a potential PS5 release date, power, and launch games of Sony's inevitable PS5. Is the PS5 releasing in 2019?

What we Want From the PS5 Speculation aside, what would we ideally want from the PS5? Backwards compatibility for PS4 games would be brilliant, simply because you'd be able to carry over classics like the Shadow of the Colossus remake to the next console generation. We've seen how well Microsoft is handling backwards compatibility with its Xbox One consoles (including getting amazing results updating Xbox 360 games to run in 4K on Xbox One X), and something similar on PS5 would be great.

In terms of pure power, the PlayStation 5 has to significantly exceed the power of the Xbox One X. This means featuring more games running in 4K at 60FPS. If the PS5 can deliver about 10 TF of power we'd be happy, as this would allow devs to create games that look a generation ahead of what we've got now.

But what would the dream launch lineup be for the PS5? Death Stranding and The Last of Us: Part 2 are hugely anticipated blockbuster games, with the former especially looking to push the performance of whatever system it's on to the very limit. We've also mentioned Ghost of Tsushima and a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, and the latter would be the perfect way to kick off a new console cycle from Sony.

primarily focused on the PlayStation devices, and then two three years later PC ports of existing games, Isure if PC only gamers can wait that long to play some high quality games, it's a win-win for them :p

Sony confirms some PS5 games will cost $69.99

The next generation of game pricing is here

Sony is making the leap into the next generation when the PlayStation 5 arrives this November. The company is also embracing next-gen game pricing, confirming Wednesday that a handful of Sony-published PS5 games will retail for $69.99, a $10 premium over current standard video game prices.

Two Sony-published launch titles, Bluepoint Games’ Demon’s Souls remake and Lucid Games’ Destruction AllStars, both carry a $69.99 price tag on PlayStation 5, Sony announced Wednesday. Launch game Spider-Man: Miles Morales from Insomniac will cost $49.99, but will also ship with an Ultimate Edition, which includes a remastered version of the PlayStation 4 game Marvel’s Spider-Man, for $69.99.

Sackboy A Big Adventure from Sumo Digital will also be available at launch, but for $59.99. Japan Studio’s Astro’s Playroom will come preinstalled on PS5 for free.

Publisher 2K Sports laid the groundwork for a next-gen console game price hike back in July, when it announced that NBA 2K21 would be priced at $69.99 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. The publisher said at the time that the high price point “fairly represents the value of what’s being offered: power, speed and technology that is only possible on new hardware.”

Pc gamers are happy playing compromised version of 3 year old classics, at least they get to play them 🙌
We happy to see die hard basement dwellers meltdown on twitter over losing exclusivity. Way more fun than the actual games 🙌

oh you already own a PS4 and have played all of the exclusives anyway so you're not exactly part of those happy few people are you :p

So how many exclusives from first party studios have been lost so far? How thick is this gravy? lol

Just one?

The gravy is real thin but the Kool-Aid must be real thick in these parts :p

PS5 cries in the corner :ROFLMAO:
At the raye pre-orders are disappearing, I think they're going to be just fine, we both know that the both of us are going to become PS5 plus PC gamers in a little while anyway :p

more likely in your case that you will become a PS5 plus PC gamer and I will become a PS5 gamer.
