Well, this looks awesome:
Dota 2 - Reborn
New interface looks pretty.
And new engine will hopefully increase the eye candy too. Can't wait to see the other reveals.
Newbies rejoice. The new tutorial and guided bot matches surely looks to help out a lot. One of Dota 2's biggest complaint is the learning curve.

I hope that while the new engine brings optimization, we also get better graphics when dota 2 is maxed out. Dota 2, is without a doubt a good-looking game, but I feel that graphics could be much better.Well, this looks awesome:

Same. More detailed character models, animations, abilities effects etc will be great.
PTCL net is still screwed and I've been getting some really bad pings in Dota 2.
Still, I did try Dota 2 reborn and the new UI is so SEXY and GORGEOUS. Love it.
Also, custom games are so friggin awesome. I tried some like Pudge wars and Skill Shot and the Football one and they are so fun. Only problem is the high pings I'm currently getting.

Dunno man, I'm getting not so good pings in Custom games. Maybe it is a new feature and still being tweaked and stuff, so not getting good pings. Or maybe the matches aren't near SEA.

planning on trying dota 2 primarily because I have played and a fan of Dota 1, LoL and Hots..
Anyway's want to get some info before jumping into the bottomless pit of dota again.

- Which server's do you guys play on,
- what ping's do you get (ptcl) (not counting the bad pings after submarine issue),
- can you shift servers without losing progress,
- How's the pakistani playerbase
- how's the basic progress system of the game
- South East Asia, Europe West
- South East Asia -> 80-130ms, Europe West -> 130 - 200ms
- No such limitation in dota2

Post traceroutes.
Step 1:
Open CMD (Command Prompt) / Network Utility / Terminal
→ Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard to open RUN Window
→ Type in "CMD" and press OK
Step 2:
Tracerouting
Once you have opened up CMD type in "tracert 103.28.54.1" (without quotes)
Post the screenshot here once the traceroute finishes (can take from 15 - 30sec).
1: South East Asia or Europe West
2: 100 to 250 ms
3: Yes you can shift to any server you like to play and that wont affect or slow down your Level progress or XP...But Each match will be counted for the Server you played on. i.e 100 matches on SEA, 50 Matches on EW Server.
4: Pakistani player base quite good compared to other MOBAs.
5:You will get some Experience points(XP will depend on your K/D/A ratio+other factors) for each match you play and you can play MMR/Ranked Matches after you reach Level 13 and it goes on...But you wont get any XP if you are in Low priority.

130ms on euw :/..how's that possible? are dota server's somewhere 'closer to pakistan' on eu or is that ping because of an internet connection other than ptcl?

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.
