      Buying LG V30

Hi, I'm looking to buy an LG V30 around 30k budget.

I wanted to ask specifically what to look out for when buying a V30 and which variants are preferred.

Also whether there are other options in the same budget that are equal to or better overall as compared to V30? I want to know alternates in same budget and features for comparison.

Look if you can spend 30k buy a brand new phone or a used one with some warrenty. Lg has a very bad track record & that's why they have a horrible resale value. I mean sure the spec sheet looks nice on paper but it is the hands on experience that matters in the end.
I have not used a V30 but from what I've heard it still faces issues like bad gps & some have grain like issue on the screen that looks horrible. Lets not forget that Lg has a bad track record of updating their flagship devices.
That is just my opinion. See some reviews to make up your mind.

You might be right but my experience has been great so far. I've used G3, used G4 for three years and also using G6 since last year. So I believe V30 is a good deal for it's price.

I just want to know the alternates in same budget with same specs so I can compare, see if I like something else better. From what I've seen Samsung sets are overpriced for their specs.

LG G6 without a problem? are you sure? There must be some problem, you have just not realized it yet.

Is it on 8.0 or 7.0?

It's on 7.0. works great. Battery is also still going nice, average 5 hours of SOT.

G4 is still my daily runner. Battery is done now after three years but the set still runs like new

No image retention on G4 or G6 ??? Ive had 4 G4s and all had image retention I just loved its camera and voice quality but battery and image retention issues were horrendous though none of them died or bootlooped

Not really, never noticed it. G6 is doing perfect. G4 battery needs replacement now after three years otherwise no issues observed till now

BTW I'm thinking between V30 and pixel 2 XL now. Any users here want to share their experience. I'm leaning towards 2 XL now but the decision is really difficult

if you are a LG user then go ahead and buy a v30 its a pretty good phone and there are no boot loops issues with this phone. but the selfie camera is pretty bad if you like to take selfies then its a big NO No.
