      Participated in second SFV beta... Used ken... the rollback netcode made for some hilarious moments. Got destroyed by R.mika players.
      Right now in UAE but hopefully will be in Pakistan when the game launches.
      Oh and my PSN ID is : Dastidood
      I'm a scrub Ryu player (<1kPP) and it makes me sad that they limited the range on Ryu's normals. His crouching forward does jack shit now.

      Yes dear I agree with you that they limited some moves like sweep is too short compared with USF4 and made him a bit slower but if you are a true ryu player like DIAGO then you can survive and beat you opponent somehow

      I don't think that sweep is safe on block at any range in this game... It doesn't beat anything and gets punished by all...
      They really should make Ryu's parry worthwhile for it to compensate for all these nerfs. His fireball game is also not as useful as many of the characters have an answer for fireball zoning now. His Denjin mode is pretty cool though especially at short range for corner pressure.
      One of the things I mainly used was to punish jump-ins by short DP and then follow up with a EX fireball but in the beta you could't follow up with anything. Both EX fireball and EX DP whiff.
      Ken at least had target combos for noobs like me.

      Agreed, he seemed a tad over-nerfed in the beta. Though Capcom has said that the final build will be considerably different than the beta builds, so you never know.

      I felt like Capcom were over-valuing his parry when in reality, it's not THAT good.

      Guess we'll just have to wait and see for the final game.

      Well if the parry become viable against jump in attacks then it becomes quite a tool. Goodbye ambiguous crossups on wakeup...

      From experience, it's decent against attacks that are kinda obvious but I'm not sure if the startup frames are good enough to counter immediate crossups on wakeup.

      You do have a point though, but I still feel that Ryu needs some buffs as compared to his beta version.

      I liked ken more than ryu in this beta. His air EX tatsu gets the opponent in a juggle state and you are able to do a followup. His run stop (or run cancel) is really good and also a good tool to get out of corner crosssup situation (though I always forget to do that).

      Yeah, Ken is really good in the hands of a player who can mix things up. Just so many options.

      I'm probably going to be maining M.Bison or Necalli, at least until my man Guile shows up to lay the smackdown on everyone

      ahhh nice .. thanks for making this thread... im soo happy to see all of u guys hyped for the game ,, i thought i was the only one and SF is dead in Pakistan .. The game is almost here.. The final beta is from 30-31 jan ... hope i can bump into one you guys ...
