MashaAllah! beautiful camera indeed! ....congrats brother! imo ..for photographer possibilities are endless he sees everything in a creative manner and utilizes whatever equipment he has to get the best out of best.

Just go outdoor and start clicking with different angles and different settings.....and walah!

now as for the technical side and all that fancy talk regarding the equipments and stuff ....ill let Dragg3r Jr. handle that as he is more aware of such things.

Can anyone suggest any shops to get UV filters from? Market mein zyada tar cheap Canons hain, and the ones that keep Hoya, they have them overpriced as hell.

Started shooting and a discovered a little problem. Even on ISO 1600/3200 my picture turns out almost black in manual mode. However when I move to Auto Mode there is no such problem, any idea why is it so? My shutter speed is on 1/800 and Aperture 7.3. I have to use flash when capture water drops pictures. Any kind of help is appreciated.

I Guess you messed up the Shutter Speed
The Longer/wider the shutter will be open the more light will enter the Camera lens hence Brighter picture

You should read up on the Shutter Speed-Aperture-ISO triangle. You're underexposing the picture, thats why its so dark. Stick to the Shutter/Aperture Priority mode for now, and put up your ISO on auto if your camera has that feature. Just a quickie:
      Higher ISO = greater light
Higher f (aperture) number = lesser light
Faster shutter speed = lesser light (1/800 is faster than 1/400, for example)

      Thanks!

Now if it isn't too much ( ) I am unable to get a decent macro in, my camera looses focus very early in the zooming? Any thoughts on this?
