Reeven is one of those high grade Companies who believes in providing not only quality but the “Perfect user experience”. Established in 2009 with the aim to deliver quality cooling solutions to users around the world. Having being one of the quality manufacturers in CPU coolers, in addition, product segment also varies to Cases, Cooling fans and thermal pastes. Reeven ultimate focus has been on cooling solution, for which they have quality research team and professional engineers. Promising to deliver best possible solution to users. They are also featuring 2 years official warranty period on their products.
With the arrival of AIO cooling technology in market, The trend of heatsink getting fade, however, the need of heatsink over AIO has continues and there are many groups who preferring Heatsink over cheap AIO. One of the reasons being affordable in price and top notch in performance. Reeven representative told they are working on AIO too, but how much time they’ll take only they knows. As of now, they have tower heatsink to serve with.
Today we are looking at Reeven Justice RC-1204. A mid tower heatsink featuring 162mm height, compatible in most Mid-tower cases. The Justice have wider aluminium fins allowing hot air to dissipate more quickly. Also in addition, the 6 heatpipes, at bottom providing effective solution for best performance. Reeven Justice comes with single fan, however, user still have option to mount another fan to the left in order to improve the cooling performance. Justice! Would it really justify the price? Let’s find out.
The package & the Content
The Cooler arrived in a white tower box, a cardboard packing contains model and related information to all other sides.
Inside the box, I found heatsink and fan along, tightly packed to avoid any shipment damage.
Then of course, we have the accessories, we also call it “Installation Kit”.
A Close Look
If they don’t have logo on top of their heatsink, then it’s not a Reeven Cooler. So the Justice have one on top, dotted holes next to it on either sides.
Heatsink covered with Aluminium fins, wider distant fins for better dissipation.
Cooling fan is mounted via Yellow plastic clips, that something different we are experiencing. What about the other side? Well, you can always install another fan and for this Kit also includes set of 4 yellow plastic clips in order to install second fan.
High Airflow Heatsink Fan is pre-assembled featuring a good airflow and static pressure.
Reeven is always good with adding good number of heatpipes to their heatsinks, For justice they repeated the build quality. 6 heat pipes of 6mm ensuring controlling the heat effectively.
Test Setup & Results
Overview of Testing method
- Temperature test run Prime95 and AIDA64 CPU stress Tests
- All the test run long for about 10 minutes
- Maximum and Minimum Temperature readings used in charts
- Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Paste used for testing.
- Ambient Temperature is 21C
- There is a 1% error of margin in Ambient
- RealTemp – For Monitoring Temperatures
- HWiNFO32 – For Monitoring Temperatures and voltages
- AI Suite III – For Controlling and Monitoring Fan Speed
- Prime95 version 25.11v – For Max Load
- AIDA64 Extreme 4.7v – For Typical Load
I start off by talking idle temperature readings. Idle temperatures are more dependant of ambient and being loadless. There is not much to say, but max I could get is 29C.
head over to Load testing, and by running Prime 95 25.11v stress test, Cooler able to restrict Processor to 47C equalling its bigger brother Reeven Ouranos and falling just behind to Noctua U14S by 2C.
AIDA64 program used to put a normal or typical load on CPU while being overclocked to 4.2GHz. Well, i am surprised to see the results are excellent. Reeven Justice did nothing but beat the Noctua U14S under our testing methodology. I was amazed to see the result but may be i was missing any point here, then had to recheck the screenshot and it left me with no error. I won’t hesitate to mention here, Justice really is a beater here.
However, when I ran prime 95 in order to put maximum load on CPU, the only difference it relieved is of 1C when compares to Noctua U14S and Reeven Ouranos. I did thought it was kind of Cryorig H7 level cooler or below, but this fierce beast have proved itself a better in fact great valued product.
Final Words & Conclusion
- Great Performance out of the box
- Bold look
- 6 heat pipes
- Full Compatibility
- Price/Performance Product
- 2 Years Warranty
- Not available in PAKISTAN
Reeven has number of CPU Coolers to look around, with such quality heatsinks you have enough choices to go with. They have done enough homework on crafting the heatsink in order to perform impressive in exigent scenarios. In terms of look, we not only see a silver heatsink but yellow and black color schemed Fan portraying their unique choice. Definitely not that everybody would prefer but noctua also got very ugly cooling fan. Doesn’t matter when you have the fierce performing 6 heat pipe CPU Cooler.
Justice not only looking different but it also surprises me on its performance level. I tested it on stock and overclocked scenarios. To be honest, I wasn’t believing it first Reeven Justice did a fantastic job on thermal sustainability. At stock 3.5GHz, under stress test it has able to restrict CPU to 47C falling just behind to Noctua U14S by 2 degrees, considering a unexpected results but stupendous on the other hand too. While overclocking the i5 4670K to 4.2GHZ, it has able to maintain the thermal levels to 60C falling behind by 1C to Noctua and Reeven Coolers, While beating Cryorig H7 by noticeable margin. Initially, my expectation was way lower from 6 heat pipes cpu cooler but its thermal test demonstrating its true worth in performance charts.
Let’s talk about on Market, being a $44 product, it’s not only manages to produce effective results but a leaving the Noctua U14s and some AIO Coolers less worthy. The budget constraint PC builders looking for value-oriented solutions, I suppose Reeven Justice is just falling in said category. On the other hand, Reeven would need to focus on market segmentation now. Since, their market appearance is still limited, we may not find all of the heatsink on all stores. I have no clue why they are not expanding their supply regions. Currently, Reeven products and in particular the CPU Cooler have availability issue, especially in PAKISTAN. On the other hand, their preferred online store is Newegg as of yet.
For such impressive cooling performance under distinguished conditions, while having wonderful aesthetic element. I would definitely give it a Recommendation.
