Recommended Games for Online Play

I was looking to purchase a few games for online play on PC. So I need you guys to recommend the top 4-5 games which are the most fun/replayable playing online. I have a reasonably well specced machine so running the games wouldn't be an issue.

Anything released in the past 2-3 years would do. Just don't recommend all very similar games in the list. I am already getting Starcraft 2 so don't mention that.

Along with the games you mention, if you could also list the best possible way of obtaining them, that would be great (I do have a credit card).

If it matters, my internet connection is PTCL 4Mbps and the pings I get from speedtest etc are usually under 60. The two genres that I don't play are MMORPG and racing/driving games. Everything else will do.

I didn't say I don't want BF3 or MW3. I just said in the list of recommendations, don't put in similar games. Like you whole list shouldn't be MW2, MW3, BC2, BF3. Also I said I am already getting starcraft 2 so don't mention that. Still going to edit my post for make it more clear. Anyways thanks for the recs.

Hmm you can play Blacklight retribution and Tribes Ascend, both are Free to play shooters and are pretty good.
Max payne 3 multiplayer is pretty awesome.
You can also buy ARMA 2 and get the DAY Z mod and play it.
Left 4 dead 2 is awesome too.

would have said that..but since u said u got no interest in MMORPGs so i didnt count that(although its an ARPG)
