Read my post clearly. I don't think technology was the big deal in here. It was the realization of this technology.

^ What realization? The tech Demo? Realization is what was shown on stage. Which part of that looked impressive to you?
The jerky and inaccurate movement of the avatar? The jumping like lunatics? Or that stupid painting? Which one?

I think you are too desperate to loose some weight :P

If the stage demos had been as accurate as the concept vids, this device would've been released already. I was amazed that they were able to show something at all yesterday
. Given their concept vids and my visualization skills, I think I can foresee what they can accomplish here.

What impressed me was the the scanning of motions in 3D space without any accessory being worn by the user. The biometrics system for login and the gesture based menu navigation system. That and that ball game that was demoed, looked far more intriguing than anything wii I've seen.

So, any other motion around the TV could disrupt the whole experience. Im guessing, this would be single player only if it ever becomes a reality.

The concept vid showed multiple players too. I think the scanners are accurate enough to phase out multiple players - but let's see how hassle free the execution is.
