I really don't understand how sony won lol. I mean they showcased like 4 or so games on the main stage. More than half of the conference was filled with lengthy, boring montages (Which clearly showed that Sony didn't have any "Proper" gameplays to show)...The only awesome parts were un-doubtetly Uncharted 2 and God of War 3....

On the other Hand Microsoft showcased 8 games on the main stage and announced another 5. That alone says how much Microsoft came prepared....The only game out of those 8 that might suck balls is The Beatles: Rock Band. ...And i don't even have to talk about NATAL :P

Just beats me how Sony were able to win that one....absolutely amazing, I mean NATAL wasn't enough and the other games that MS showed were also somehow not that great? Yeah right.

I don't know why you guys are so surprised to see Sony declared as the winner. Despite having so many X360 owners, even in the PG voting Sony got a very good (nearly half) number of votes. If a community which prefers piracy over quality can choose Sony than I see no reason why anybody who only considers quality could be criticized for calling Sony the winners.

Remember, they declared SONY the winner, not PS3. Even if you consider PS3 line-up as lacking (I don't know how you would do that ) there was PSP as well.

The PSP line-up at E3 was insane!....there was just so much stuff that they announced for the hand held....GT PSP, a new MGS game, LBP PSP....and the list goes on....heck, there was so much content that a 2 hour press conference simply wasn't enough to fit in everything, and hence, we had to settle for brief montage videos for both the PS3 and PSP

However, if I were in their place, I'd definitely have shown Kratos pwning Siegfried's ass in Soul Calibur PSP....

CT and Nomad cleared everything there. Sony's win isn't surprising at all. The PS3 line up is enough to declare Sony as the winner then add PSP and everything is just clear as glass and despite of that saying MS won is just a lame claim. Of course M$ was too strong at E3 no doubt with some great titles such as SC and L4D2 but compared to Sony, M$ deserve a runners up spot.

That's more likely it. Even in the video when they declare the winner, they flash an image of the PSP GO!, not the PS3.

So really now, if you put a few exclusive titles on stake versus better performance of the other few hundred that are released each year, "quality" becomes a whole lot clearer.

But anyway, let's not dilly dally, it's not like GameTrailers is the end all, be all of video gaming journalism lol, every site has their own opinions on who did what best.
