COD4 KEycode invalid.

AOA brothers.
So like all of you I like to play one the best COD's ever made and No.5 on my Favorite FPS games ever COD4:MW (IRRELAVANT)So Instead of re-downloading the game AGAIN I just copied the game to my HDD and when I try to join ANY SERVER CRACKED OR NOT : KEYCODE INVALID with a bunch of other stuff like re-enter you keycode or some sh!t.One of the PG members suggested I download a registry file and register it and it worked on my other PC but not on this one.I re-installed punkbuster,direct X if that helps and i'm A 1000% sure they are cracked servers cause I used to join'em all the time.

PLEASE HELP

One more thing the way i registered it was by copying the registry file into the COD4 directory and ran it.

If I do it directly from the game it says its invalid...but i did try changing the keycode from regedit.

tell me the EXACT process how u insert key in game...cuz when i copy game to a new windows...i have to go to key entry area...select the first box and thn press backspaceor delete a few times...and thn insert key...it works...try this once

A bit outdated, but it'll answer most of your queries.

Try the Keygen and use different key, and report back.

And delete that registry file whatever it is ... You don't need any registry file to make the game on other PCs to work without installation.

All you need to do is, update DirectX, install PB and update and enter a new keycode ... thats all. If you have done that already then the game should work just fine.

^thats wht i was wondering...from my 4yrs cod4 experience i have never seen or heard anyone use reg file for cd key...and i always copy paste game from other sources instead of installing a new copy

I didn't get what your trying to say,by "key entry area" you mean in the game options?My process is: I go to start>search: regedit>hkeylocalmachine>Activision>COD4MW>keycode and replace the old one nothing happens though

Alrighty,Ima re-installed Directx,PB and enter a new key code and come back in 10-15 mins.

yes i meant in the game options...dont enter through registry...launch game,open options,click on multiplayer tab,there should be a button saying Enter Key Code...click on that...and enter key there...by following my method i.e.click on the first key code box and press backspace and delete button a few times...then start entering the key

ALright using the razor Key code I entered 3 different keys and all r invalid ....

OK it worked it says invalid but the key works on cracked servers thanks <3 you guyz

The key will work even if shows invalid. Don't worry...
