      Black ops steam problem

AS soon as i click on COD BO to play My steam client starts VALIDATING SOME CACHE FILES from black ops game. And instead of completing the process it stops at 50% saying that STEAM SERVERS are too busy to handle your request. Try again later.

i want to ask any proper solution to the problem.

      thanks.

Like the message says try again in an hours time or two, nothing will happen if you don't play the game for a little while longer =/. Another solution is if after 2 hours it still doesn't work then what you can do is DELETE EVERY FILE in your steam folder EXCEPT "steamapps" folder and the steam.exe then run steam.exe and let it download again (not the game, the client) and then try, when my Left 4 Dead 2 released it was giving me the same error as you, I did the above step and started playing in about 20 mins time.

      My PC Specs
        CPU: Core i5 2500k @4.5Ghz
        Cooler: Hyper 212 plus
        Motherboard: Asus P8P67 (B3)
        Memory: GSkill 16GB Ripjaws X DDR3 1600Mhz
GPU: EVGA GTX 570 with AC-AXP Cooler
        HDD: Corsair Force3 60GB SSD + WD 500GB
        PSU: Corsair GS800
        Soundcard: Creative Xi-fi Xtreme Music
        OS: Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit
      The alternative is :
      1. Exit steam
2.CUT the Blackops subfolder (located in steamapps\common) and paste it to another drive.
3.Start Steam and let it download blackops for few minutes till it gets to atleast 2-5% downloaded.
      4. Exit Steam
      5. Cut/Paste the Blackops folder back into steamapps folder.
      6. Start Steam.
      7. Right click the Blackops Game Icon > Properties > Local files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache
      8. Once done start blackops and it should work !
