      back in the day gpus didnt have 6 pin connectors..... now u got these huge cards that consume a lot of power......

      Who says 375W? HD7970 has a 210W TDP Design. The HD7850 would have a TDP design of only 90W while being faster than HD6950. Its a huge ass improvement over past gen graphic cards.

      Not to mention lower temps, The HD4000 Series easily went past 80C while current GPU's stay at 60C under max load.

      The current 6 series has suffered greatly because of bad driver support. If anything, this is something AMD should focus the most on.

      the only advantage of this card is 28nm and because of this advantage low power consumption is here for free. also better overclocking support and better temps
