arent all the 7000 overpriced here...i mean 30-32k for a 250$ 7850 is just ripping off...shudnt cost more than 26k IMO

It is a FACT that GTX680 is Faster than HD7970 While costing 50$ Less

And ur further Comparing HD7000 Series GPUs to GT500 Series

i agree on 7970 price must be equal or lesser than gtx680

but we have a cheap 7850 in replacement for a gtx570 which was expensive in old days now...
and as soon as drivers of 7850 get mature and stable...it will top gtx570
while 7870 already ahead of gtx580(50k around :0) in most benchmarks @ just37k ...yet drivers are just pioneer ones....
so price to performance ati 7870 and 7850 would be a big win

it would be 28k expected on galaxy
but imx will bring them cheap for us surely
Remeber calibre 560ti DF was at 269 usd in intl market while imx provided it at only 24.5k

GTX580 and GTX570 have dominated the market for 1.5 Years
Their Nvidia Replacements are GTX680 and GTX670Ti (Rumored)

Just becomes Mid Range Cards of "Next" Series can best the Cards of "Previous" Series does not mean they "Killed" the said Cards

The Competition for HD7870 and HD7850 is yet to be released

HIS has announced yet another addition to its Radeon HD 7800 lineup, the HIS 7850 Fan 2GB card.

Featuring custom cooling with a center-placed fan, the new HIS 7850 Fan 2GB works at 860MHz for the GPU and has 2GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 4800MHz and paired up with a 256-bit memory interface. Since we are talking about AMD's HD 7850 graphics card based on 28nm Pitcairn Pro GPU you are looking at 1024 stream processors.

According to HIS, the new 7850 Fan 2GB should end up with noise levels below 28dB and it comes with HIS' own iTurbo overclocking software. It features one DVI, one HDMI and two mini DisplayPort outputs.

The new card is currently listed in Europe with a price tag set at around €220.

The prices of 7750 and 7770 are quite economical...They aren't taking 2 much profit from them but rest GPUs are out of bars.

welll... Since Nvidia does not have a competetor for ATI for now.. then its obvious ATI wud be compared to exisitng Nvidia products.

      ^^ correct said bro
its very awesome to have a 37k gpu HD 7870 beating a 50k gpu Gtx580...
and after drivers improves 7870 will top gtx580 in each and every single benchmark

Mashallah, There r few people who wud buy 680, 690, 7970, 7990 or other expensive top of line cards,,,
But the mainstream is where the industry seems to thrive alot... Lets wait for Nvidia cards to ***. But i think they wud have great pricing to give 7 series jolt again...
