      errr... i dont think so. The 8800gt was never the fastest card in the market (the 8800gtx was), unless you talk about price/ performance.

      ultra (8800ultra) IIRC was a limited release card
      so both were in market at same time ?
      i don't remember correctly but i think 8800gt was a little ahead of 8800gtx

      It was actually a little behind the 8800GTX

      Mainly falling in between 8800GTS 640MB and GTX

      Wierd list. It picks up the BEST card of the earlier time, not the fastest but the best overall. Later on just the most expensive things you can buy. Wierd list.

      Plus it doenst have the Voodoo 5 5500 ... two chips on one card, that thing was nice.
