A Terrible problem!!!...PC Gone Super Slow!..:(

Guys I dunno What happened...I was playing every game yesterday with Blistering Fast FPS and Suddenly today they dropped to a terrible amount...my whole PC has gone Slow!...I didn't change anything..Not the drivers etc. ...For Example....My FPS in COD: MW2 dropped to a terrible 8fps at the same scene i used to have more than 75fps on!!!....In BFBC2 my FPS dropped to 18-20 from near 50-60Fps!!!.In AC2 i'm getting like 18-20Fps when i used to have 50-60 FPS constant!........I ran NOD32 Anti-Virus...Didn't get anything...I even tried the game booster software...Still nothing!.....Damn!...I'm scared guys!...help me Out!....
I'm running Catalyst 10.9 on a 2GB sapphire 4870....I'll try going back to 10.8

Viral activity IMO.

Happened with me that I was unable to even play Red Alert 2 (that 10 year old game) properly on my 8600GT. Formatted the PC (because viruses were here and there, everywhere), and it started working like a charm!

check ur HDD speed is it working fine

bro check ur hard disk,, i also faced same problem,, later i discoverd that my hdd was faulty

Check your CPU usage pronto.

Task manager > performance. If CPU usage is high, go to processes and check whats taking up the most resources (click on the CPU tab to arrange in descending order).

one HDD shows an Error...An error of faulty cable...I replaced the Sata connection cable but the errors persists!

I knew that and also checked it before...It's normal!..My RAM sticks are properly inserted and are also showing the proper amount i.e 3GB in windows!....

hdd seems to b faulty i think check another hdd on ur system

^I have two HDDs!....The other one is Maxtor 160GB and is w/o any errors!.(i keep all my games in it!...)..the 160GB one is still in warranty but doesn't look faulty!...
I don't wanna install Windows again unless it is confirmed that it is some sort of viral attack which is inevitable...
