      suggestions for lcd required...

i'll be soon selling my beloved 17" acer lcd, link below
      http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009117

i am planning to get philips 190CW9FB (Rs.11000) ,link below :
      http://www.consumer.philips.com/cons...or+190CW9FB-05

i want to ask is it really worth upgrading...my current lcd's resolution is 1280x1024 while the philip's one is 1440x900..will i notice any increase in size? and those of u who have this lcd (like fajoo ), are u guys satisfied with it?how does it performs in games and movies..pls share ur experience..

one more thing that i want to ask th samsung 933bw is available for Rs.13000...how much better is it in terms of performance? (dont consider the design,i like design of philips) ...are the extra Rs.2000 worth the performance with philips ?
      waiting for a response

hmmm well this is an awesome lcd and you don't need to invest 2k more for a minor difference of dynamic contrast ratio, in 933bw it is 15000:1 while in philips it is 12000:1.......

performance is awesome in movies as well as games.....so the extra 2k are not worth to be spent on samsung, go with philips.....
