      Sound quality will be the same as xtreme music. You wont notice any difference. This one has X-RAM which no current game supports and a really nice IO panel. What speakers/headphones do you use with these?

      so what should be the price of this package ...just a rough estimate ...speakers range is no more then 8k at the moment so i have no idea what i will get ..considering logtiech 5.1 speakers costing around 8500.

      Nasir bhai, The soundcard base PCB and processor is same as of Xtreme music, There is an advantage however. The I/O panel lets you change modes on sound card at hardware level, which is nice because on xtreme music the modes are controlled by software. Still other than X-Ram there is no difference in sound quality.

      Do check the RMS on speakers individual satellites. Do not buy any thin less than 20 RMS per channel. The center one should/will be the most powerful channel by default. Other than that check the quality of subwoofer. cheaper 5.1 ones have crappy woofer.

      if its used then about 9-10k. If new then about 12-13k. close enough?

      the sound card is very good... regarding how much it should be depends on the condition of the card itself.... as far as i remember, a new one back in the days used to cost like 20k+
      but i would take the X-FI titanium fatality series over this ne day....
      and if u plan on getting normal 70RMS watts speakers with it, u wont do justice with this card and eventually ur speakers might go bye bye

      Its an overrated card. According to me and according to alot of review sites. I have done considerable research on this card and the only thing that sets it apart from the Xtreme Music is the X-ram which only 3 or 4 games use at most. It has no sound quality difference compared to the Xtreme Music. Since people like bachelor sell the Xtreme Music for 3k in mint flawless condition, I would think 7k is reasonable for the xi fi fatality fps. The remote is a really nice add on but as for the input output connections you need to ask yourself are you really going to use all those connectors. The Optical connector is whats most important but then why not get the Xtreme Gamer OEM SB 077X or the Titanium (which again bachelor will have in a week or two, and he shouldnt charge more than 4k). Both have Optical Input/Output built into the back of the card. The Xtreme Gamer has a double chip and can connect to the casing front panel something which the fatality fps cannot. The titanium is the latest series and uses a slightly different chip, the EMU20K2 instead of the EMU20K1, it can also connect to the casing front panel and it uses the PCIe x1 port, giving faster data transference.

      The three people currently selling the x-fi fatality fps are star2, Ken5500 and zohaibasad. I am pretty sure for the last 1.5 yrs everyone has been trying to sell this card but no one has bought it. In any case be sure to use the latest Daniel_K hacked drivers to get the most out of ur X-fi card and please never use the manufacturer's CDs especially for Creative and HP. Those CDs end up having bloatware and outdated drivers/software.

      @NajamQ:

      According to everything I have read that isnt the case. The fatality fps and Xtreme Music work almost the same. Please give proof to support ur claim.

      @blade:

      The voltage/current output is standardized on the 3.5mm and 6.35mm output so it shouldn't make any difference whether you use low end speakers or high end speakers.

      thats good info there brother yes got it from 1 of the people u mentioned i wonder why the rest could not sell it ..well some issues with accesories here n there , but why is there stuttering in 5.1 speakers are attached same with 7.1 as well .

      strange head phones and 2.1 seem to work fine under win 7 , i have installed the latest creative drivers , but still i am not satisfied with the amount of money involved here ... in 7.5k i except it to be top notch .

      Try these drivers by Daniel_k and see if there is any difference

      I doubt its a problem with the card itself. Especially if the card has minimal oxidation
