      Psu fan connector

      hi guys

there is a 3pin connector coming out of my powersupply which in its catalog says its a fan detector but without connecting that connector my powersupply fan is runing fine as the system is also runing fine,
i want to ask for wat purpose that connector is and wat can be the consequences of not using it ,not to forget my psu has one 135mm fan !

^ check either the psu fan working or not
if its not working then plug that 3pin in the mobo
there is a place for fan connector in the mobo

Maybe its for hardware monitoring , to check temps and rpms of the fan and PSU..

its for monitoring power supply fan..... if your motherboard has 3 pin PWR fan connector you can monitor the power supply's fan but can't change the rpm though... no need to connect it
