      HDTV refresh rate

      hey guys ... is a 60Hz lcdtv(40 inches ) good enough for gaming ?or should i spent some more and get a 120 Hz ??

      i think 60hz is good but if u have extra money and can afford 120hz then go for it.

      120Hz is for 3d gaming.
      60Hz is good enough for 2d gaming.

      60 Hz LCDs are fine as far as console gaming is concerned....PC gaming is a different story, depending on the kind of hardware you've got

      Just make sure you don't fall for the Motion Flow/Motion Plus gimmick that is heavily promoted with HDTVs these days
